You Cannot Rush What Is Still Growing ๐ฑ
Growth takes time โ and much of it happens beneath the surface, where no one can see. A gentle reminder to keep nurturing yourself and trust the season you are in.
A seed cannot be pulled upward to make it grow faster.
- It needs time.
- It needs water.
- It needs sunlight.
- And most importantly, it needs patience.
I think we often forget this when it comes to our own lives.
We want to heal quickly. We want to become confident quickly. We want to see results from our efforts. We want to know that all the work we are doing is actually making a difference.
As mothers, we can feel this pressure even more. We want to be better mothers. Better partners. Better professionals. Better versions of ourselves.
And when change doesn't happen as quickly as we expect, we start wondering if we are doing something wrong.
But what if we aren't? What if we are simply still growing?
There was a time when I wanted to see results immediately. I wanted to feel confident. I wanted to grow. I wanted to understand my purpose.
But I slowly learned that some of the most important growth happens where nobody can see it.
Just like the roots of a seed grow beneath the soil before the plant appears above it.

- Maybe your quiet days are building your roots.
- Maybe the books you are reading are changing your thinking.
- Maybe the difficult experiences you've gone through are making you stronger.
- Maybe the time you spend in prayer is giving you a kind of strength that cannot be seen yet.
Growth doesn't always look like progress.
- Sometimes growth looks like resting.
- Sometimes it looks like learning.
- Sometimes it looks like starting again.
- Sometimes it simply means choosing not to give up.
So if you feel like you're not moving fast enough, don't be too hard on yourself.
- You don't need to pull yourself upward.
- You don't need to force your next chapter.
- You don't need to compare your growth with someone else's.
- Keep watering yourself.
- Keep learning.
- Keep praying.
- Keep taking small steps.
And give yourself permission to grow at your own pace.
One day, you may look back and realize that while you thought nothing was happening, your roots were becoming stronger.
The growth was happening. You just couldn't see it yet.
๐ฑ Trust the process.
Some things need time before they can bloom.
And perhaps your job isn't to force yourself to grow faster.
Perhaps your job is simply to keep nurturing yourself and trust that, in the right season, you will rise.
